TAMPA, Fla. – Florida Republican Sen. Rick Scott’s campaign launched a $3 million statewide campaign ad on Thursday as they prepares for the 2024 U.S. Senate race.

The campaign said that it is the “biggest buy so far,” scheduled to hit every media market in the state.

The video starts with Scott talking about how America has declined significantly since the years of President Ronald Reagan’s leadership.

“Crime is rampant and goes unpunished,” Scott said. “Our border is wide open for criminals and drugs that kill our people, our debt is $32 trillion and climbing.”

”Inflation is growing faster than our wages,” he said. “There’s a land war in Europe, we don’t make things in America anymore, we buy them from our enemies in China, we pulled out Afghanistan like a bunch of cowards.”

He also said how some Americans can’t define what a woman is and that the government pays people not to work.

“The game is now rigged against hardworking Americans who still believe in this country, believe in God and the American values of hard work, patriotism and self reliance,” Scott said.

“This is not a fight for the faint of heart, it’s not a fight for the weak,” he said. “We are losing our country. It’s time to cowboy up and fight like hell to turn this country around.”

Scott’s campaign released an ad that called out Washington politicians for “holding American disaster victims hostage.”

Keith Gross, Farid Khavari, Shannon O’Dell and Dr. Joe Smith are registered to run against the sitting senator in the Republican primary.

Scott recently received an endorsement from former CIA Director Mike Pompeo.

“I am thrilled to endorse Senator Rick Scott for re-election to represent Florida in the U.S. Senate,” Pompeo said. “Senator Scott is a proven conservative leader who has delivered for the people of Florida and America time and again.”
