Sen. John Fetterman to deliver keynote address at Florida Democratic Leadership Blue 2024 event

ORLANDO, Fla. – U.S. Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., is set to give the keynote address at Florida Democratic Party’s Leadership Blue 2024 event.

“@JohnFetterman is not your traditional politician,” the party said on social media. “Join us this weekend to hear from him on his grassroots victory as a blueprint for battlegrounds.”

Leadership Blue 2024 consists of a weekend of trainings, speakers and panel discussion on how the party hopes to win races in Florida.

The discussions include strategies on messaging surrounding Florida’s abortion ballot amendment that will be voted on in November’s as well as how to address gun violence and target minority voters.

Tickets for the gala dinner start at $300 per person.

The Republican Party of Florida recently increased their ever-growing lead over the Democrats in regards to registered voters. The GOP now has over 900,000 more Floridians registered under their party than the Democrats do theirs.

The Florida GOP has also flipped several counties to majority Republican over recent years. Notably, they have come within 13 votes of flipping Madison County.
