TAMPA (FLV) – The Florida Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee launched two television ads attacking Democrats Sen. Janet Cruz and Eunic Ortiz.

The ads launched as the Florida Senate Democrat’s “Florida Freedom Tour” stopped in Tampa for Ortiz and Cruz.

“Sign waving & cafecito with @SenJanetCruz to get out the vote for this fearless fighter! A vote for Senator Janet Cruz is a vote for freedom, fairness, & common sense polices to lower costs & keep families safe & healthy!” the Democrat’s Florida Senate Victory tweet said.

The tour’s stops also include campaign events for Democrats Loranne Ausley, Joy Goff-Marcil, Raquel Pacheco and Janelle Perez.

Senate President-Designate Kathleen Passidomo talked about Republican’s counter campaign labeled the “B.S. Express” Tuesday night on the Patriot Talk Show.

“They are doing a bus tour right now that we call the ‘B.S. Express’ where they are traveling around the state and they are expressing policies like free abortions for all up until the very end. They are talking about boys in girls sports. They’re talking about things that no one in their right mind would support,” Passidomo said.

The FRSCC launched the ad “Who Is Janet Cruz?” as she faces Republican Jay Collins.

Who is Janet Cruz? Bounced checks. Tax cheat. Fake charity. Got rich in office. Creepy woke politics.

The “New York Minute” ad attacks Ortiz for policies including defunding the police. Ortiz faces Republican state Rep. Nick DiCeglie.

Defund the police. Dismantle our prisons. Dismiss school resource officers. Most New Yorkers ditched these nutty ideas after moving to Florida. Not Eunic Ortiz. Eunic Ortiz is a New York political operative who’s head over heels for nutty ideas like taxpayer funded housing for illegal immigrants, taxpayer funded centers for so called safe drug users, even taxpayer funded sex changes for minors. Will Ortiz vote for these nutty ideas in Florida? In a New York minute.
