TALLAHASSEE (FLV) – Shawn Frost has announced his bid for Vice Chair of the Republican Party of Florida.

“After much prayer, reflection, and consultation with my family and numerous trusted members of the Republican Party of Florida; I’m thrilled to announce my intentions to stand for election as the Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida,” he announced.

The Annual Meeting will take place Feb. 18th.

Frost said Florida’s Republican Party is a “winning team,” and he wants to keep that streak alive.

“I will work to prove that I have the time and resources, leadership experience, temperament, and strategic talent to be the Vice Chairman who will strengthen the GOP team to Keep Florida Winning,” he went on.

He said the RPOF functions best with cohesive functioning between local leaders and statewide figures.

Frost was the chairman of the ‘Build the Bench Committee’ which propelled him to be named RPOF’s ‘Most Valuable Politico’ of the year by Chairman Joe Gruters.

“Over the next few weeks, I am looking forward to once again traveling the state getting to know everyone even better with the added benefit this time of listening to what you think we can change or improve so that the party will grow and improve to ‘Keep Florida Winning.'”

Frost pointed to his experience as a U.S. Marine: “I was entrusted with, and maintained, an SCI Top Secret Clearance. I learned that ‘Leaders eat last’ and have studied leadership possessing not only graduate degrees and certificates, but practical experience.”

He said the party must work to resolve “internal conflict.”

“We need to preserve our Esprit de corps, and instead of fighting fellow patriots, double our efforts fighting the leftists trying to bring socialism into America and destroy our faith and the family unit. As your Vice Chairman, I will respectfully work with every Republican at every level to ensure we are whooping up on the left, not each other.”

‘Day One Endorsers’ include U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds, Erika Donalds, Chairman Carole Jean Jordan, Rep. Jason Fischer, and more.

“Shawn Frost is a proven conservative and servant leader who knows how to win bigger races like my congressional, with a gift for winning nonpartisan School Board Races. He has my enthusiastic endorsement for Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida because Frost will keep Florida winning!” Byron Donalds said of Frost.

For the party’s Chair seat, Christian Ziegler and Evan Power have announced their candidacies. Read more here.
