FORT MYERS (FCV) – Thursday, Tiffany Esposito announced her campaign to represent the newly drawn District 77 in the Florida House of Representatives.

FL-77 includes Briarcliff, Buckingham, Gateway, Lehigh Acres, San Carlos Park, and the unincorporated area of Southeast Lee County. It was approved by the Florida Legislature in Senate Joint Resolution 100.

“This district is my home- it is where I was born and raised, where my parents grew their small business, and where my husband and I call home.  I have devoted my professional career to growing our economy and helping local businesses succeed,” she said.

“Now, I’m ready to take on that charge in an even greater capacity and create meaningful policies that will pave the way for new economic opportunities for all of Lee County and the State of Florida.”

Esposito is a strong supporter of Governor Ron DeSantis’ (R) handling of COVID-19.

“Florida has become the beacon of freedom in America, and I intend to build upon that foundation,” she remarked.

The Florida House candidate said that she “will fight to keep Florida free of mandates and shutdowns,” and identified herself as a “proud conservative.”

Esposito was born and raised in Lee County, attending Lee County public schools before obtaining a bachelor’s degree in communication and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Gulf Coast University.

Currently, she is the President and CEO of Southwest Florida incorporated, which promotes and protects local businesses and devises solutions to the workforce shortages.

She was named Woman of the Year by the Zonta Club of Bonita Springs and lives with her husband in San Carlos Park.
