WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Expectedly, former President Donald Trump won the Florida presidential preference primary Tuesday night.

With most results in, Trump won the primary with over 80% of the vote.

For some of the vote-by-mail period, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley was in the race – so it’s expected that some voters statewide still casted for Haley, expecting her to remain in. She dropped out just before early voting kicked into high gear across the state.

The Republican Party of Florida and other top officials, including former contender Gov. Ron DeSantis, have previously endorsed Trump for president.
