ATLANTA (FLV) – After his booking into Fulton County jail, former President Donald Trump marked the historic release of a presidential mug shot with his long-awaited return to X, formerly known as Twitter.

Trump was suspended from the platform after the events of Jan. 6, 2021 at the U.S. Capitol and posed for the first time in more than two years.

His first post linked to his official campaign website, which presently urges visitors donate to his campaign.

The donation page also features Trump’s mug shot from Fulton County, where he faces 13 criminal charges relating to allegations of trying to overturn the 2020 election.

Those charges include conspiracies to commit false statements, file false documents, commit forgery and to impersonate a public officer, along with making false statements and writings, filing false documents, soliciting the violation of oath by a public officer, and violating Georgia racketeering law.

“The American people know what’s going on,” the former president’s donation page reads below his mug shot. “What has taken place is a travesty of justice and ELECTION INTERFERENCE.”

“Today, I walked into the lion’s den with one simple message on behalf of our entire movement: I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OUR MISSION TO SAVE AMERICA,” it continues.

The former president received support from Florida Republicans like Sens. Marco Rubio and Rick Scott, along with Rep. Byron Donalds.

Trump’s Thursday arraignment involves his fourth indictment since leaving office.

The other indictments include two investigations from Washington, D.C. Special Counsel Jack Smith surrounding classified documents and the events of Jan. 6, 2021, along with charges from New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg surrounding alleged hush money payments to a porn star.

The timing of Trump’s Thursday appearance at the Fulton County jail coincided with the day directly after the first Republican primary presidential debate, along with his viral interview with Tucker Carlson, which has now garnered a total of 253 million “views” on X.
