WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Former President Donald Trump has been touting his 2024 election polls against President Joe Biden, but also pointed to people with money on the line placing their bets on him over Biden.

Trump posted the Polymarket betting odds on Truth Social Sunday afternoon, which as of Monday, hand Trump a 54% chance of winning the presidential election to Biden’s 39%.

The running average of betting markets for the 2024 election hands Trump 43.5% to Biden’s 33.3%, according to RealClearPolitics.

That metric has had Biden leading Trump in the betting odds until September 2023, as Trump gained polling strength and legal cases against him ramped up.

Trump’s strong betting odds come as he hits a career high in the polling aggregate against either of his Democratic opponents, including 2016’s former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Biden both in 2020 and 2024.

As of Monday, he leads Biden an average of 4.3%, the highest ever in that metric.

Trump’s national trendline has been upward since legal cases amped up against him in the latter half of 2023.

He also leads across enough swing states to hand him the Electoral College victory: Arizona, Nevada, Georgia and Michigan. Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are statistical ties.

The election is on Nov. 5. Many Americans will begin voting weeks before that.
