WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Former President Donald Trump warned of the “other side” attempting to cheat ahead of the Iowa caucuses and urged his supporters to get out the vote.

“You know the other side does cheat, and we’re not going to let that happen,” Trump said. “We can not let that happen.”

He did not specifically mention who would attempt to cheat, or how it would be accomplished.

The former president thanked the “Trump Caucus Captains” for their help with the campaign and urged them to commit to the “10 for Trump” goal of bringing 10 members of their family, friends, and community to caucus for the former president.

“The most important thing you could do for our campaign is to lock in your ‘10 for Trump’ and turn them out for the caucuses,” Trump said on social media.

“Teach them how to caucus. Take them in your car on caucus night if you have to. Do whatever is necessary to get them in,” he added. “We’ve got to make America great again, so do whatever it takes.”

Trump reassured Iowa supporters that if they turn out to vote, he will “win big.”

“Remember, you’re my voice on caucus night. Just like I am your voice to the rest of the country,” he said.

“We’re going to make America greater than ever before, we’re going to put America first and caucus night will be the very beginning,” Trump said. “It’s going to be a historic win.”

In the latest RealClearPolitics polling averages, Trump leads his primary opponents with 48.8% support in Iowa, around a 31% lead over Gov. Ron DeSantis, who currently averages 17.3% in the state.

The GOP Iowa caucus is set for Jan. 15, 2024 and is currently the focus of major candidates’ ground game operations.

Throughout his candidacy for president, DeSantis has made an effort to visit all 99 counties in Iowa.

Never Back Down, which supports DeSantis for president, has ramped up their own work on the ground by providing opportunities for Iowans to meet the governor as he travels the state.
