Uber to Give Free Round-Trips to Disaster Recovery Centers in 10 Ian-Impacted Counties
TALLAHASSEE (FLV) – Ride-share service Uber announced it will be offering free round-trip rides costing up to $30 each way to-and-from 10 Disaster Recovery Centers in Florida.
The centers allow victims of Hurricane Ian to apply for assistance, loans, and learn about other available resources.
How to redeem the free ride:
- Open your app
- Tap “Account” on the bottom right
- Tap Wallet
- Scroll down to “+ Add Promo Code”\
- Enter code IANRECOVERY
- Select any of the state-approved Florida disaster recovery centers listed at floridadisaster.org/info.
