MIAMI (FLV) – It is a question that is heard daily in the Democratic elites, they make it seem as if behind that support there is a great mystery to be solved. The reality is that there is no mystery and the answer is a lot simpler than they want to believe or accept.

It can be said that the Florida Democrats are in panic mode since for many years they have believed that the Hispanic vote belongs to them without having to work for it. They have always believed to be the owners and lords of our vote, but things are changing.

For Democrats, the Governor is the big stone in their path, however, for the vast majority of Hispanics, he is the leader who understands our concerns and protects our freedoms.

And something that we Hispanics love, are our freedoms, freedom to choose the education of our children, freedom to learn, freedom to grow as people, freedom to get ahead for our family, freedom to make our decisions, freedom to achieve the American dream.

We Hispanics do not believe, nor do we have a victim mentality, much less have a cult for our government father. Many of us come from totalitarian countries where governments decide for your life, where you have no voice, no vote, where no matter how hard you work, you don’t see progress and if you raise your voice against those regimes, they deprive you of the most precious thing a human being has, his freedom.

There is a saying that is, live and let live. And that is precisely what Governor Ron DeSantis does, he respects the autonomy and criteria of each person. A leader listens to the needs of his voters, and thanks to that quality, the governor quickly opened up Florida because he listened to us.

Lots of businesses were one step away from bankruptcy, children suffering from high levels of depression and delays in their education, isolated grandparents without the embrace of their loved ones. That is why the absurd attacks and insults, calling the governor a dictator does not resonate with the Hispanic community.

The hispanics, we perfectly understand how a dictator behaves, not because they were told about it, but because they lived it in their own flesh!

We support the governor because he knows perfectly well that our needs and interests are the same as those of any other citizen of the state. For the most part, we are from the working class, who care about food prices, gasoline, we care about safety in our communities, we like law and order, we are concerned about the lack of control of immigration because we have borders open and we prefer direct information, not varnished by what is considered politically correct.

Instead, the Democrats are focused on calling us Latinx, gender ideologies, have an agenda of victimization, limit the rights of parents and destroy the family unit. If you dare to have a thinking different from theirs, they disqualify you with intolerant or racist names.

In conclusion, there is no mystery why Hispanics support Governor Ron DeSantis.

Our values simply align with his and his excellent management of government to maintain Florida free is an example of that.
