‘Y’all Know Who We Voting For’: Arcadia Resident Celebrates Arrival of Gas Post-Ian, ‘And I’m a Democrat!’

ARCADIA (FLV) – A video went viral on social media depicting residents of Arcadia – a town of just over 8,000 residents in Southwest Florida – sharing thoughts of appreciation for Gov. Ron DeSantis’ efforts to restore communities after Hurricane Ian.

One resident, who said he is a Democrat, celebrated the arrival of gas to his area.

“Say what you want about DeSantis, but the gas is here in Arcadia. I don’t know about the rest of y’all, but it’s here in Arcadia, so y’all know who we are voting for.”

“I’m a Democrat but I’m voting for DeSantis,” he continued.

“They’re beyond grateful for the rapid response put in place by Gov. Ron DeSantis,” John Cardillo said.
