PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Republican Party of Palm Beach County raised over $1.17 million in the first quarter of 2024.

A large amount of the funds were raised at the GOP’s Lincoln Day Dinner, which was held at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago Club in Palm Beach on March 15, according to a press release from the local GOP.

The Florida Democratic party raised around the same amount, $1.3 million, statewide for Q1. The Republicans raised $3.5 million in Q1 statewide.

The local GOP said this is the largest amount of money raised by the party during the first quarter and the most amount of money any GOP club has raised at one event – which totaled over 800 attendees.

Republican Party of Palm Beach County Chairman Kevin Neal organized this year’s event.

“We were excited to see supporters in attendance who have supported our local Party for years as well as many new supporters who we hope will continue to support our local Party in the future,” Neal said.

Speakers included former President Donald Trump, U.S. Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., a video message from Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and Florida Republican Reps. Matt Gaetz, Anna Paulina Luna, and Kat Cammack.

Other speakers included the City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, Republican Party of Florida Chairman Evan Power, Republican Party of Palm Beach County Chairman Kevin Neal, Master of Ceremonies Kevin Sorbo. Miss Florida, Juliette Valle, performed the National Anthem at the event.

Neal said Palm Beach County is “turning red faster than many realize” and the primary objective for the fundraising at the event was to “get Republicans elected in Palm Beach County.”
