LOS ANGELES (FCV) – Dave Rubin, host of the Rubin Report and founder of Locals Technology Inc., is moving to Florida to flee the “dystopian nightmare” of Democrat-run California.

In a video, Rubin said that he “cannot wait” to carry out his mission of bringing truth and open discussion to his viewers from Florida instead of California.

Rubin spoke with Brendon Leslie, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Florida’s Conservative Voice, saying, “Over the last couple years, California and, by extension, Los Angeles, has become a dystopian nightmare. We all know about the homelessness, we all know about the drug use, we know about the high taxes …”

“Everything is just getting worse.” He was a strong advocate of recalling California Governor Gavin Newsom (D).

Rubin stressed his belief in freedom, and he believes that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) is a “beacon” of freedom for America.

The Rubin Report boasts over 1 million YouTube subscribers and is one of the top political podcasts on Apple and Spotify.

Locals, Rubin’s big-tech-challenging company, was recently announced to be merging with Rumble, a new-tech YouTube competitor, to more effectively compete with big tech companies.

Rubin’s move to Florida joins a host of other big personalities moving to Florida, such as President Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump, Tom Brady, and more.

Florida has lower taxes and stronger Republican leadership than other large states like California and New York, a likely reason for a recent exodus from blue areas.
