WEST PALM BEACH (FLV) – Gov. Ron DeSantis hosted a roundtable with Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo and other medical professionals regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and mRNA vaccines.

DeSantis announced a petition for statewide grand jury to investigate “any and all wrongdoing” in Florida with respect to the COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers.

DeSantis also announced a public health integrity committee will be established. The board will advise the public and provide oversight moving forward of the public health establishment.

“Anything [the CDC will] put out, you just assume, at this point, that it’s not worth the paper that it’s printed on,” DeSantis said.

“Once Again, Florida leads where others won’t,” said Press Secretary Bryan Griffin.

“Remember a few days ago when Governor DeSantis mentioned accountability? As always, he is following up with action,” said Christina Pushaw.

DeSantis says he intends to pass a bill that protects physicians first amendment rights this year.

“The decision making at the top of the country was absolutely abysmal [during COVID],” said Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, MD, PHD.

Bhattacharya recently made headlines for being “blacklisted” from Twitter for raising questions about how school lockdowns might affect the nation’s children, according to The Free Press reporter Bari Weiss.

“Part of the reason I think it’s been a bad response is because from the very beginning, you had a lot of arrogance, that it’s our way or the highway, and anyone that offers any type of a dissenting opinion, and they were censoring from day one, people that would write anti lock down things in March of 2020, April 2020, some of those would get taken down off some of these big tech platforms,” DeSantis said.

Michelle Utter, who previously ran Spartan races and did martial arts, told a heart-wrenching story of experience with the vaccine.

“Inflammation everywhere […] I was told by the hospital this would be safe,” said Utter.

“The scientific community denies their experience,” Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo said of mRNA vaccine injuries.

Ladapo has previously spoken out against the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, saying they are “far less safe” than other vaccines based on an autopsy-based clinical research in a cardiology study.

“These deaths aren’t captured by other studies because these patients never made it to the hospital…mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are far less safe than any vaccines widely used,” said Ladapo. “When does sanity return to science? Why do scientists breathlessly defend this technology?”

In October, Lapado announced new mRNA COVID-19 vaccine guidance, advising against males aged 18-39 years old from taking those vaccines due to a reported 84% increase in the relative incidence of heart-related deaths.

Ladapo also warned about the risks of vaccinating “healthy children with no underlying conditions.” The surgeon general questioned the CDC on Twitter.

DeSantis previously said that his administration planned to hold vaccine manufacturers accountable for making false claims about the mRNA COVID-19 products that may have caused injuries, and even death, among some who received the vaccines.
