TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Republican Party of Florida Chairman Evan Power announced George Riley as the party’s next executive director Friday, while Alexander Pantinakis will serve as its next political director.

“Chairman @EvanPower is pleased to announce longtime RPOF staffer George Riley will serve as Executive Director and Jacksonville political consultant Alexander @Pantinakis will serve as Party’s Political Director,” the Florida GOP said. “They will help lead Florida Republicans to victory this November.”

Riley has been with the Republican Party of Florida since 2008. He since has served in numerous roles, including regional field manager, the director of Party Development, and most recently as the executive director for Conservatives for Clean Energy-Florida and senior advisor to the party.

“George Riley is a tremendous asset to our Party and I’m pleased to have him serve as Executive Director as we continue to make Florida a Republican stronghold,” Power said.

Pantinakis, a political strategist, was previously a state committeeman in Duval County in 2015, becoming the youngest to serve in Florida’s history. He also has helped dozens of candidates within the party at the federal, state, and local levels.

“Alex Pantinakis is a great talent. I am extremely pleased that he will join us to help us build our grassroots operation to deliver victories across Florida in November,” said Power.

Elected as Florida’s Republican Party chairman in January, Power has quickly helped bolster the party’s profile within GOP ranks.

Under his leadership, Power has picked up a $50,000 pledge from Florida House Speaker-Designate Daniel Perez, R-Miami, and $100,000 pledges from Agricultural Commissioner Wilton Simpson and Senate President-Designate Ben Albritton, R-Bartow.
