FLORIDA (FLV) – One million doors have been knocked by the RNC Florida Victory team this cycle less than 100 days from the November election.

“The more Democrat complacency, the harder Florida Republicans work. We’re not done widening our lead and we’re committed to connecting with each and every voter wherever they are,” said RNC Spokeswoman Julia Friedland.

RNC Florida Victory also made more than 1.2 million phone calls, engaged with thousands of volunteers at voter contact events, and conducted voter registration drives at gas stations, gun ranges and grocery stores.

Florida Victory is the joint field operation of the RNC and the Republican Party of Florida. They have worked through all 67 counties to increase the number of Republican voter registrations.

Florida Republicans have gained momentum since Gov. Ron DeSantis took office. For the first time in Florida history, there are 200,000 more Republicans than Democrats registered to vote according to sources within the Republican Party of Florida.

The number of registered Republican voters doubled since March when Republicans hit 100,000 more registrations.

Republicans have focused their efforts on the Hispanic community since the 2020 election. The Republican National Committee rolled out a Spanish-language version of the RNC’s voter contact app called Campaign Sidekick. The group’s walk books and call scripts are also now available in Spanish.

Democrats in Florida have been losing their grip on the sunshine state as Democrat voter registration numbers dip and donors pull their resources.

Democratic Ranking Member Rep. Michael Grieco, D-Miami Beach, announced he would not seek reelection citing a lack of resources from the “Tallahassee Establishment” as a main reason.

Minority Leader Sen. Lauren Book, D-Broward County, has previously fundraised for other Democrats but now faces a heated contested race in her own district.

Republicans said the Democratic party is left without direction and a leader. At the same time, Governor DeSantis is continuing to rise in popularity and resonate his message with people across the country.
