TALLAHASSEE (FLV) – As the Nov. 8 midterm elections draw near, polling trends continue to give incumbent Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis a strong, widening lead over Democrat Charlie Crist.

The latest poll from Mason-Dixon gives DeSantis an 11 point lead over the Democrat, 52%-41%. The poll sampled 800 likely voters from 9/26-9/28.

The RealClearPolitics average gives DeSantis an average 6.3 point lead, which takes into account polls since Aug. 24. A Fabrizio/Anzalone poll – included in the several month average – gave DeSantis only a 3 point lead.

Since then, DeSantis’ lead has only increased:

Fabrizio/Anzalone (8/24-8/31): DeSantis +3

Susquehanna (8/29-9/4): DeSantis +4

FOX 35/Insider Advantage (9/5-9/6): DeSantis +5

USA Today/Suffolk (9/15-9/18): DeSantis +7

Spectrum News/Siena (9/18-9/25): DeSantis +8

Mason-Dixon (9/26-9/28): DeSantis +11

RealClearPolitics

As DeSantis’ poll numbers rise, so do his fundraising totals. He brought in nearly $10 million dollars since late August to Crist’s $6.7 million.

The Republican’s war chest rests at around $110 million, decreasing slightly as spending went up. Crist has around $3.5 million on-hand.
