WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (FLV) – Former President Donald Trump’s campaign released a video criticizing Gov. Ron DeSantis for his repeated references to Florida during a campaign stop in New Hampshire.

The video compilation contains clips of DeSantis referring to Florida while speaking to the group of voters.

It begins with DeSantis speaking to attendees about Florida’s recent participation in the college baseball world series.

“Its great to get a little pep in my step this morning after Florida was in the college world series last night against LSU,” DeSantis said in the clip.

The video also includes clips of the governor touting Florida’s immigration policy and his attempts to counteract President Joe Biden’s policies on illegal immigration.

“People coming across the border are staying away from Florida,” DeSantis said. “Same thing with people trying to come to Florida by boat.”

DeSantis has long called for the U.S. to follow in Florida’s footsteps when it comes to enacting conservative policies.

He recently released a book called “The Courage to Be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival” and went on a “Florida Blueprint” tour to promote his record in Florida.

The attacks between the two candidates and their respective campaigns have intensified as both Trump and DeSantis travel across early primary states like New Hampshire, Iowa and South Carolina.
