Sun Coast PBA endorses Adam Ross for Pinellas tax collector

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Sun Coast Police Benevolent Association on Wednesday endorsed Adam Ross for Pinellas County Tax Collector.

“Our police officers in Pinellas County work so incredibly hard to protect our homes, businesses, and
schools,” Ross said in a press release. “It is a great honor to receive the endorsement from the Sun Coast Police Benevolent Association, and I look forward to supporting their critical mission as Pinellas Tax Collector and helping to provide the resources to do their job safely.”

Ross has picked up three law enforcement endorsements since December.

According to the release, Ross is running for tax collector based on his experience in “budget
management, personnel management, and public service.”

Since 2018, Ross has served as the executive director of the State Attorney’s Office where he has overseen a $49 million budget among its 400 employees. Moreover, Ross has assisted in “creating a new case management system that rapidly increased efficiency and saved taxpayer money.”

Ross was elected chairman of the Pinellas County GOP in 2022. He also is a member of the Episcopal Church of Ascension and serves on the board of nonprofit Hope Villages America.
