WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (FLV) – Former President Donald Trump’s campaign slammed “Bidenomics” and President Joe Biden’s handling of the economy in a statement released Wednesday.

The statement called “Bidenomics” the “opposite of President Trump’s Historic Economy.”

“’Bidenomics’ is high taxes, crippling regulations, crushing inflation, war on American energy, soaring energy costs, job killing globalist intentional agreements like the Paris Climate Accord, and total economic surrender to China and other foreign countries,” the statement read. “America First economics vs. America Last.”

They said that Trump’s economy “makes it easier, more attractive for American jobs, American workers and American families in the U.S.”

The statement also criticized the spending habits of Biden and Democrats in Congress for causing “the highest inflation in decades.”

“They spent trillions of dollars and pursued the socialist joke known as the Green New Deal,” the statement reads. “Now the inflation and high interest rates that Biden caused have resulted in the Biden Banking Crisis—a disaster of historic proportions.”

The statement criticizing Bidenomics” comes as the Trump campaign looks to brand Biden’s economic policies as destructive towards middle class Americans, a massive voting bloc important to whoever seeks the Oval Office.
