WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (FLV) – Former President Donald Trump received 85.7% support in a Turning Point Action straw poll over the weekend.

The poll was conducted at a Turning Point USA conference in Palm Beach.

The former president took to Truth Social to celebrate his win and called it a “blowout,” also blasting Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Gov. Chris Christie.

“Just heard that I (WE!) won the big Turning Point Straw Poll in a BLOWOUT, getting 85.7% of the Vote,” Trump said in the post. “Ron DeSanctimonious came in a solid 3rd with 4.3%, Vivek got 2%, and Sloppy Chris Christie, as usual, got a big, fat, ZERO!”

According to the poll, Perry Johnson, a Michigan businessman who launched his longshot presidential campaign in March, followed Trump with nearly 8% support.

DeSantis placed third amongst respondents’ first choice for president with 4.3% support. He did not attend nor deliver remarks at the conference.

Vivek Ramaswamy garnered 2% support, while the rest of the field clocked in at 0%, including Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and Christie.

In response to the question of their second choice for president, Ramaswamy emerged as the frontrunner in the poll, garnering approximately 51% support.

Trump followed with around 21%, while DeSantis received approximately 13%, and Scott 6%.

Among the other candidates, none managed to gather more than 5% support.
