WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – With the country’s first presidential primary taking place in New Hampshire on Jan. 23, 2024, former President Donald Trump is poised to score a double-digit victory, multiple polling averages found.

According to RealClearPolitics‘ average for New Hampshire, Trump holds 46.3% support, a 21.6% lead over former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, who’s at 24.8%. Haley is followed by former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Another metric also handed Trump a nearly 20-point lead, with FiveThirtyEight’s average giving Trump 44.1% average support in New Hampshire.

That metric found Haley at 25.7%, Christie at 11.1% and DeSantis at 7.6%.

Both aggregates use multiple polls from December, including from groups like YouGov, Trafalgar, UMass Lowell, CBS News and St. Anselm.

ABC News will host a debate in New Hampshire Jan. 18.

The outlet announced their qualifications for the debate later in December: to participate, candidates must finish in the top three in the Iowa caucus and have at least 10% and two separate national primary polls, or 10% in two separate New Hampshire polls. The polls must be approved by ABC.

For Iowa, Trump has also retained a hefty lead; there, DeSantis shows more strength than in New Hampshire, coming in second in polling metrics. However, recent polls show a narrowing with Haley closely behind DeSantis in the state.

And nationally, Trump was found to hold over 62% support, or more than a 50-point lead over both DeSantis and Haley.
