WASHINGTON, D.C. (FLV) – Former President Donald Trump recently pledged to prohibit communists and Marxists from entering the U.S. in a now-viral video.

Trump made the remarks during the “Road to Majority” event organized by the Faith and Freedom Coalition in Washington, D.C. on June 24.

The clip, which has garnered nearly five million views on Twitter, captures Trump outlining proposed immigration policy changes during his speech.

In the video, Trump promised to “protect the integrity of our immigration system.”

“Using federal law section 212 F, of the Immigration and Nationality Act, I will order my government to deny entry to all communists and all Marxists,” Trump said. “So, we are going to keep foreign Christian-hating communists and Marxists and socialists out of America. We are keeping them out of America.”

Trump also vowed to exclude people from immigrating into the U.S. who “want to destroy our country.”

“Those that come to, and join, our country must love our country, we want them to love our country, we don’t want them when they want to destroy our country,” Trump continued.

Trump also asserted that during his presidency, “the world was stable and calm.”

“America was respected and strong,” Trump said. “Now as we see in Russia and all of these other places, this whole world is on fire.”

The former president is set to speak in Iowa Friday and Nevada on Saturday for a “volunteer recruitment event.”
