TALLAHASSEE (FCV) – Tuesday, Florida Agriculture Commissioner and gubernatorial candidate Nikki Fried (D) released a twitter video where she incorrectly claimed that Governor Ron DeSantis has not denounced Nazis, referencing a Nazi demonstration that occurred in Orlando.

“As somebody who is a member of the Jewish community, what I am seeing in our state makes me so more angry to keep fighting this and to stand up because we see what hatred does to a society, and we cannot stand back and let that happen here in Florida and across the country,” she said.

Fried went on to scream, “The fact that our governor still to this day has not denounced Nazis, is unheard of! It’s unpatriotic, it’s unamerican, and every Floridians needs to hear this. This is about who we are as Americans.”

Fried is continuing the slew of left-wing figures falsely claiming DeSantis never disavowed or denounced Nazis. In reality, on January 31, DeSantis did exactly that, calling the Nazis, “Some jackasses doing this on the street.”

At the press conference, DeSantis also slammed Democrats like Fried for using the Nazi protest as a political hitjob against him.

Fried was seen clapping for DeSantis-signed anti-Semitism protection legislation in 2019. Conservatives have been pointing out these facts to Fried, but she continues parroting the lie about DeSantis, perhaps the most pro-Israel governor in the country.

On the other hand, Fried drew ire from the Anti Defamation League of Florida for comparing DeSantis to German dictator Adolf Hitler last month.
