WASHINGTON (FCV) – After Governor Ron DeSantis signed H.B. 1557, the Parental Rights in Education act falsely called the “Don’t Say Gay Bill,” President Joe Biden attacked the Sunshine State for its efforts to protect young children from sexual indoctrination.

“Every student deserves to feel safe and welcome in the classroom. Our LGBTQI+ youth deserve to be affirmed and accepted just as they are,” he said on Twitter.

“My Administration will continue to fight for dignity and opportunity for every student and family — in Florida and around the country.”

DeSantis signed the bill at a press conference on Monday. At the conference, he fired back at Oscar Hollywood elites who laughed at Florida for protecting children and promoting parental rights.

“They actually HAVE read the bill. They’re sloganeering because they don’t want to admit that they support sexualizing kids in kindergarten,” he remarked.

“They support injecting woke gender ideology into 2nd grade classrooms. They’re trying to camouflage their true intentions.”

The Parental Rights in Education Act does not target any gender or sexual orientation. Rather, it prevents all sexual orientations from being taught in grades K-3. Most children are straight – therefore, the bill actually targets the straight sexuality in higher numbers than LGBTQ.
