TALLAHASSEE (FLV) – Democrat gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist posted an announcement that a group of Hispanic leaders have endorsed him, including a few current members of Congress.

The following people were listed in the announcement:

  • Congressman Joaquin Castro (D-TX)
  • Congressman Ruben Gallego (D-AZ)

  • Congressman Ritchie Torres (D-NY)
  • Former Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL)

“Floridians deserve a governor with a heart who will actually work to make Florida more affordable and welcoming for all. I’ll be that governor,” Crist said.

A new poll found Hispanic voters in Florida are swinging for DeSantis over Crist by a margin of 7 points, 51%-44%.
