ANAHEIM (FCV) – According to the Twitter account @DisneyWalkout, the organizers of the “Disney Walkout” in response to the company’s reluctance initially to denounce Florida H.B. 1557, the Parental Rights in Education Act, the Walt Disney Company has effectively told employees to ‘not say gay.’

The Florida bill was dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay Bill” by leftist activists. Disney later froze political donations in response to Republicans’ and DeSantis’ support of the bill after left-wing outrage.

The account said that Disneyland cast members – employees – are being told that they cannot wear “pride/trans Mickey pins” to show support for the walkout.

“Standing in stark contrast to the words of ‘inclusion’ spoken by Chapek today in the town hall,” they said.

The account runs a website named “whereischapek.com.”

March 22, 2022 from 8AM to 6PM “local time” is the listed time of the employee walkout.

According to WESH News, Disney employees at the Florida theme park in Lake Buena Vista plan to be on Hotel Plaza Boulevard in Walt Disney World to protest H.B. 1557. The road is a high-traffic entrance seen by thousands of tourists and locals daily.
