TALLAHSSEE (FLV) – As Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried nears the Democrat primary for governor, opponents are laughing at a recent “roundtable” where empty chairs can be seen in the background.
“As I’m kicking off the senior section of my Lower Costs, Higher Standards plan, I’m holding a roundtable with Florida seniors,” Fried said on Twitter. “Listening to you makes our policy better. That’s how government should work.”
Pictures show Fried in a small room with only a few event attendees:
One critic laughed at Fried for not being able to “even fill up a collapsable card table at the retirement home.”
“Ha, she is not competition for Gov. DeSantis. She has to win a primary first, and that doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen,” Pushaw responded.
