Pro-Saurez super PAC makes AI DeSantis say Mickey Mouse ‘greatest threat’ to families
MIAMI (FLV) – A new AI chatbot from SOS America PAC depicted Gov. Ron DeSantis exclaiming that Mickey Mouse is the “single greatest threat” to American families.
The super PAC supports Miami Mayor Francis Suarez for president, but is officially separate from the candidate.
The bot was launched Wednesday.
“Hi, I’m AI Francis Suarez,” the chatbot of Suarez said. “You’ve probably heard that my namesake conservative Mayor Francis Suarez is running for president. I’m here to answer questions you may have about Mayor Suarez’s proven agenda for economic prosperity, cutting spending and supporting our police, so how can I help?”

The video tool uses AI features to make it appear as though Suarez is speaking. Users can click on the microphone and ask vocally ask questions about his campaign and the AI promptly responds.
Florida’s Voice asked the AI what he thinks of Gov. Ron DeSantis, a fellow Floridians running for the presidency, and a cartoon graphic appeared with a voice sounding like the governor.
“I’m AI Ron DeSantis,” it opened. “Listen, I know conservative Miami Mayor Francis Suarez is concerned with saving America’s economy, supporting our police officers, keeping American community safe, and standing up to China.”
“But I want to talk about the single greatest threat to American families today. Mickey Mouse. Yes, Mickey Mouse. Run for your lives,” the AI voice said.

Florida’s Voice asked the chatbot what Suarez’s stance is on abortion. The AI responded, saying Suarez is “pro-life.”
“Conservative Mayor Francis Suarez, his parents actually met at a pro-life rally. A family man with two children of his own mayor Suarez is proudly pro-life,” it said.
When asked if Suarez supports law enforcement, the AI points to “radical liberals” in different cities defunding their police departments. It then points to Suarez’s leadership as Miami mayor, fully funding Miami’s police department, and said “under President Francis Suarez, this crucial support for law enforcement we’ll continue.”
Florida’s Voice asked the AI why Suarez thinks he would be a good president.
“Look around folks. Joe Biden has failed America 40 year record inflation, the constant threat of a recession, vicious attacks on our police and the innocent Americans they serve and protect. This has been the last four years of Joe Biden’s America and the American people have had enough,” the AI responded.
“They need a president with a proven record to turn this economy around and deliver economic prosperity for hardworking Americans. They need a president with the backbone to stand up to China and put America first. They need a president who will shut down radical anti-police liberals and fully fund law enforcement,” the AI continued.
The AI chatbot is powered by VideoAsk, created by the software company Typeform. The website said VideoAsk “helps you streamline your conversations and build business relationships at scale.”
Suarez served as a Miami city commissioner and was elected mayor in 2017. Suarez’s biography reads that his mayoral position has been marked by a commitment to law and order, fiscal responsibility, and the promotion of business-friendly policies.
“Mayor Francis Suarez is the Republican Party’s best chance to beat Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election,” his biography states.
