WASHINGTON, D.C. (FLV) – Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla., announced he has endorsed former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election.

“I’m happy and honored to endorse Donald J Trump for president in 2024,” Steube said on Newsmax. “He’s the only person that can reverse, on day one, all these disastrous policies of the Biden administration, and the type of things that have happened under the Biden administration would have never happened under President Trump.”

“We need to right all the wrongs that have happened under this administration,” Steube continued. “Fix the things that happen in Afghanistan, support our military and our veterans and do the things that the America first agenda stands for – and that is one person Donald Trump.”

“He’s widely supported in my district, widely supported in Florida. And I’m honored to add my endorsement to the long list of endorsements for President Trump here.”

Steube is one of several Florida Republicans to endorse Trump for president in 2024.

Other congressional members from the Sunshine State tossing their endorsement behind Trump include Reps. Byron Donalds, Cory Mills, Matt Gaetz, and Anna Paulina Luna.

Gov. Ron DeSantis is rumored to be considering a run for president in 2024, and is traveling across the country promoting the “Florida Blueprint” and his new book, “The Courage to Be Free.”

DeSantis has previously said he won’t make any announcements until after the Florida Legislature wraps up its session in May.
