Republican candidate Yvette Benarroch honored as Top Latino Leader in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Republican State House District 81 candidate Yvette Benarroch was honored with the Top Latino Lideres Award at the Fort Myers Taste of Latino Festival.

The event was hosted by the Hispanic Resource Family Cultural Center on Oct. 1.

“The 2023 Latino Leader Award is a testament to Benarroch’s unwavering commitment to the betterment of her community,” a press release stated.

Benarroch received the Top Latino Lideres Award following years of work in the Southwest Florida Hispanic community and her efforts to prepare the next generation of Hispanic leaders.

Benarroch’s involvement in numerous community service initiatives “has left a lasting impact on the lives of those she serves.”

Benarroch said it’s an “incredible honor” to be recognized with the 2023 Latino Leader Award.

“My journey has been driven by a passion for service, a commitment to conservative values, and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people in our community,” Benarroch said.  

Benarroch is an US Air Force veteran who served during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. She is a mom, small business owner, and grassroots conservative leader, and realtor. Benarroch is also the co-owner of Affordable Landscaping Service & Design, LLC, a full-service landscaping company serving the Naples and Marco Island Area.

Benarroch heads the Collier County chapter of Moms for Liberty and serves as First Vice President of the Florida Federation of Republican Women. 

Benarroch’s is running for the Florida State House District 81 seat. Her campaign is centered on “principles of constitutional conservatism, personal responsibility, and limited government.”

Her aim is to be a “strong advocate for her constituents and to ensure that their voices are heard in the legislative process.”

Greg Folley is the other Republican running for this Houe seat.
