Republican voter registration lead expands by 53,000 in October alone

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida Republicans’ voter registration lead over Democrats grew by more than 53,000 in the month of October, according to the Florida Division of Elections.

In October, Republicans had a 680,030 voter registration advantage compared to Democrats. The Republican registration lead in September was 626,518.

“BAD NEWS FOR FL DEMOCRATS!” Republican Party of Florida Chairman Christian Ziegler said.

Ziegler shared the news on X, saying October was a “VERY SCARY month” for Democrats.

In October, Republicans had 5,153,695 registered voters compared to the Democrats’ 4,473,665 total.

Republicans lost 29,383 voters and Democrats lost 82,895 registered voters from September to October.

In July, Democrats launched their “Take Back Florida” statewide tour as the party attempted to rebuild from deepening losses.

When the initiative was launched, Republicans had a 568,051 lead that has continued to increase.
