Tampa Mayor overruled by council after trying to veto putting proposals to a ballot

TAMPA (FLV) – Tampa City Council Members voted to override several of Mayor Jane Castor’s vetoes on charter proposals so that they would appear on the March ballot, including a vote on term limits for city council members.

The meeting was filled with many opinions from the public and council members who called out Castor for vetoing the proposals.
