ISRAEL – Florida Republican Rep. Cory Mills helped evacuate 77 Americans out of Israel following terrorist attacks against Israel from Hamas, a terrorist organization backed by Shi’ite Iran.

Mills said he can’t share many more details for safety reasons, speaking on Fox News Wednesday.

The representative told Florida’s Voice that he intends to go back for more American citizens after successfully evacuating the initial 32.

He also hit the Biden administration for not putting more effort into evacuating endangered Americans.

“I went in [and] was very thankful [to be] helping the Biden administration, who has failed to do their job,” Mills told Fox Wednesday. “They have no plan, they have no strategy to get these Americans out – who are trapped [and] left behind.”

The Florida congressman said he “won’t stop until he’s an impediment or can’t get them out.”

One man, Todd Cox, posted on X thanking Mills for his efforts.

“We made it out of Israel safely because of a true American Hero – US REPRESENTATIVE CORY MILLS,” he said. “We are safe in Jordan right now and will fly out tomorrow night!”

Hamas launched more than 2,000 rockets into southern and central Israel over the weekend, brutally murdered civilians, and has taken men, women and children as hostages, including some American citizens.

The number of U.S. citizens killed in the Israel-Hamas war rose to at least 22 Wednesday, with at least 17 unaccounted for, the Associated Press reported.

Republican Party of Florida Chairman Christian Ziegler called Mills an “absolute badass.”

Ziegler posted on social media that previously, during the “botched Afghanistan pull out,” he and Mills were talking on the phone about an “unrelated issue” and Ziegler noticed the “service was clearly poor” and asked where Mills was located.

“Turns out the dude [Mills] was on the ground coordinating the evacuation of Americans and American allies outta Afghanistan,” Ziegler said.

U.S. Rep. Mike Waltz, R-Fla, also commented on Mills’ efforts.

“Americans church groups are trapped in a war zone and State Department isn’t picking up the phones. Once again veterans like @CoryMillsFL are stepping up to do the Biden Admin’s job,” Waltz said.
