WASHINGTON, D.C. (FLV) – Scott Presler, GOP registration and grassroots activist who now vows to create a manual for legal ballot harvesting amidst below-expectations performance in the midterms, has gained strong favor among members of the party upset with its direction.

Presler traveled across the U.S. for the 2022 election season, including touring Florida in April, to bolster party registration in hopes of driving home a red wave.

When that wave did not happen on Nov. 8, Presler, after years of relentless “persistence” in bolstering the Republican Party’s candidates, publicly addressed growing calls for leadership to offer him a position.

On the morning of Nov. 9, the activist said, “I’ve never been a quitter. I will use this time to recover & then dedicate the next 2 years to winning back the White House. In the states where I registered voters — FL & NY — we won seats. If GOP leadership reaches out to me, I will help. If not, we’ll do it, ourselves.

Both Florida and New York saw massive double-digit swings in Republicans’ favor.

Presler replied to a user urging the GOP to “fire” Ronna McDaniel as RNC chair saying the leadership has not reached out to him “despite my successful voter registration efforts.”

As the Georgia Senate runoff election approached, the Republican base heard Presler loud and clear. Calls grew for members of GOP leadership to offer Presler a job, giving him a larger platform, more resources and funding to register voters and teach communities how to preach conservative causes.

“I’m not getting involved in the drama. The only thing that matters, right now, is winning the Georgia Senate runoff on December 6th,” Presler said Dec. 2. When a user asked if he ever received assistance from the RNC, Presler replied, “GOP leadership has never reached out to me.”

Republican candidate for New York Governor Lee Zeldin, who’s election loss against Kathy Hochul swung nearly double digits to the right from Democrat Andrew Cuomo’s victory in 2018, echoed calls for giving Presler a seat at the RNC.

“This man is such a workhorse, registering new voters, going door to door, traveling the country, and working VERY long hours. The GOP needs to reach out to @ScottPresler immediately!” Zeldin said.

Harmeet Dhillon, who announced her bid to defeat Ronna McDaniel as RNC chair, vowed to offer Presler a job as one of her first actions if elected.

“If elected to RNC Chairwoman role, one of my first job offers will be to @ScottPresler — if he will have us — to inspire and train our ground forces on voter registration and getting every ballot to the ballot box by all legal means!” Dhillon announced.

Presler replied, “Thank you, Harmeet. If you are elected as RNC Chairwoman, I’m absolutely willing to serve. Let’s register new voters, empower the grassroots, & grow the Republican Party in all 50 states.”

Kari Lake, who lost to Democrat Katie Hobbs in the Arizona governor election after days of late drop-offs being released and election day voter machine malfunctions, replied, “This is a must.”

Alex Bruesewitz, a MAGA political consultant and CEO of X-Strategies, said Dhillon’s potential job offer is a “great idea.”

“Smartest hire in RNC history,” Benny Johnson said of Dhillon’s vow.

Even faced with bleak prospects from analysts for the Georgia senate runoff, which ultimately ended with Democrat Raphael Warnock defeating Herschel Walker by several points, Presler traveled to Georgia and worked to legally harvest ballots in Walker’s favor.

“I’m a farmer planting seeds for harvest,” Presler said Nov. 18.

The Republican activist gained notoriety for city trash cleanups and called for ballot harvesting as early as 2019, seeing the writing on the wall for future Republican defeats partly, or entirely, caused by systematic changes to voting procedure.
