Trump posts mock DeSantis video that includes Hitler, brags of ‘bigger, better’ red button

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (FLV) – In addition to calling Gov. Ron DeSantis’ 2024 Twitter campaign launch a “disaster,” former President Donald Trump posted a deepfake satire video mocking his announcement, including figures like Adolf Hitler, George Soros, “The Devil” and the FBI.

Trump made fun of DeSantis’ delayed announcement, caused due to Twitter servers being “strain[ed]” with almost one million listeners waiting for DeSantis’ remarks.

“Congrats on breaking the internet,” co-host David Sacks told DeSantis.

The event then proceeded as planned.

“Is the DeSantis launch FATAL? Yes!” Trump continued.

The former president declared that DeSantis would “handle the country” the same way “he handled his announcement.”

“I know Ron,” he said.

“His whole campaign will be a disaster. WATCH!”

Team Trump posted a swath of mainstream media headlines that similarly mocked the governor for overloading Twitter servers.

“Ron DeSantis’ Twitter Disaster,” it was titled, headlines ranging from outlets like Newsweek, Breitbart, NBC News, the AP, CNN and the New York Times.

Alex Bruesewitz, a pro-MAGA consultant, described the Spaces as “scripted and boring,” calling the governor “No Rizz Ron.”

Trump also posted a new anti-DeSantis attack ad as the 2024 announcement took place.

“It seems we broke the internet with so much excitement…” Team DeSantis said after his first 2024 interview.

Bryan Griffin, DeSantis’ campaign press secretary, said $1 million was raised online within one hour.

“There was so much enthusiasm for Governor DeSantis’ vision for our Great American Comeback that he literally busted up the internet. Washington is next,” Griffin said.
