TALLAHASSEE (FLV) – The White House amped up rhetoric against the so-called “right-wing” being a ‘threat to democracy,’ taking jabs Gov. Ron DeSantis for his comments on Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Late Aug., DeSantis issued fiery remarks against the soon-to-retire Fauci.

“And I’m just sick of seeing him, I know he says he’s gonna retire – somebody needs to grab that liffle elf and chuck him across the Potomac!”

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre went after “far-right wing rhetoric” from various figures like Paul Gosar, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Madison Cawthorn, and DeSantis.

In response, the DeSantis campaign slammed the “physical assaults” carried out by Joe Biden and Fauci.

“Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci needlessly locked people in their homes and out of their jobs, kept kids away from school, and sent tens of thousands of seniors to their deaths,” Dave Abrams, campaign spokesperson, said. “Those are the physical assaults they ought to be talking about from the podium.”
