Rep. Byron Donalds: ‘We’re Gonna Hold Investigations on Just About Everybody’ if GOP Wins House in November

FORT MYERS (FLV) – At the Patriot Talk Show, U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds told Florida’s Voice that if the Republican Party re-gains majority control in the House of Representatives, they will hold investigations on “just about everybody.”

“What can the House do?” Founder and Editor-in-Chief Brendon Leslie asked Donalds regarding what conservatives claim as political weaponization of federal law enforcement in raiding Former President Donald Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago.

“Oh ok, so, we’re gonna hold investigations on just about everybody. It’s all happening,” the Southwest Florida Congressman replied.

“Can they be national televised please?” Leslie asked.

“So, shh… There’s some things I’m not going to say. We actually had conversations about Leader [Kevin] McCarthy on this,” Donalds continued, saying the current House Minority Leader is “locked in.”

“The reality is that the very nature of the House of Representatives doesn’t even work anymore. Its’ become so polarized, so toxic – we’re gonna hold investigations and we’re gonna invite the Democrats in. Come on in and defend your guy, defend your people, we will let you in the room to do this,” he said.

“These agencies, starting with Merrick Garland on down, have to be held accountable.”

McCarthy previously said on the night of the FBI raid that Republicans will “conduct immediate oversight” and leave “no stone unturned.”

“I’ve seen enough. The Department of Justice has reached an intolerable state of weaponized politicization,” McCarthy said. “When Republicans take back the House, we will conduct immediate oversight of this department, follow the facts, and leave no stone unturned.”
